This is definitely doable.

The only challenge I would have is accounting for both list view and grid view.

Do you usually browse Drive in grid view by default?

i tend to group files into folders by purpose so art assets are usually in one folder, pdfs of white papers in another. so, grid for one and list for the other. i still use Find to find the actual file i need so maybe it doesn’t actually matter but it does better.
