Click and drag items from left navigation#471

Most outdated left nav I’ve seen. Why would I want to manually Click Up or Click Down to move stuff when all modern docs organizer tools allow for easy clicking and dragging to rearrange heirarchal order?

I agree that it’s subpar. It is an issue that I’ll be addressing after march.

I have a technical implementation in mind, it is just assigning some resources to get it done.

The reason why it hasn’t been implemented up until now is that it is reasonably technically involved to build. I’ve evaluated a number of open source tree libraries, but none were sufficient for the use case, so it will need to be an in-house implementation utilizing a drag and drop library.

I’ve estimated 3-6 months of development effort to complete it, but hopefully it can be completed faster.
