When we add a Google Drawings file to the wiki it does not display.
Hi John, this should be supported.
I’ve added additional documentation here:
https://docs.youneedawiki.com/app/page/1P7WhgK35QbN4ABFTECGpZIWT1gYaUg8tehsSzNSEV38?p=1NqCSiMuEfPfaHTumR_rX6J8zo7ygjx8q
If there is a specific file that is not supported, could you share an example file with me and I can try to replicate the error.
Thanks for the quick response. iFrame worked perfectly. I did not fully understand the other options.
I’ve pushed a fix for this. The issue was it was throwing an error for drawings over >5mb. It will now work as expected.
Addtional notes:
For large drawings, an iframe will load faster as the browser can cache the drawing assets (like images), but the iframe has a downside in that you have to predefine the width/height and it does not expand/contract to fit the screen as well as an SVG image.
At some point I will implement caching which will make it just as fast as an iframe for large documents.
I’ve updated the docs to reflect this
