Sidebar color customizer: not working#367

=== UNEXPECTED BEHAVIOR ===

• When entering a new HEX color, the “Update” button remains inactive
• “Update” button becomes active after “Reset” is selected
• If “Update” button is clicked, a page with only a loading status wheel is displayed and loops infinitely

=== EXPECTED BEHAVIOR ===

• After entering a new HEX color, the “Update” button becomes active
• Clicking “Update” loads the new sidebar color

This is only reproduced if the HEX color is pasted directly. Color selection works if manually selected of pasted within the popup color selector.
