Quick Link does not place link on highlighted text#315

In long documents (with lists etc), the highlight + link feature places the link on text that is not 100% the text that was highlighted.
It feels like the further down the document you place the link in, the bigger the offset.

I have noticed the same problem. Also its quite irritating that I end up always accidentally adding links when highlighting text. I think this feature should be changed altogether. For example by clicking right mouse button this could be an option, but not with left button.

I am experiencing the same problem, and agree with Topi Jokiens point on accidental linking when selecting text. I mean, it’s a really convinient way of adding links, but it gets in the way when you do not.
