Insert new pages at the exact desired position in the hierarchy#214

It seems, whenever I press the + icon on my first “Welcome” page, the new page will actually be created at the very and of the left hand navigation. Then I have to click “Move up” a dozen times to get it to the top position where I want it to be.

Is there any faster way to move items around in the hierarchy? Shouldn’t the + buttons next to each item add more items after the current item?

Being able to redefine the sort order on the left would be great. Some combo of custom order (via drag and drop), alphabetical, and then recently updated ordering would be ideal.

Right now it defaults to alphabetical, so a new item is sorted as alphabetical which is why it’s adding to the end.
I see what you mean though, and I think you’re right.

I agree, drag and drop would assist with this.
When you mention being able to redefine the sort order, would you want something like Drive has.
