Changes to google drive API#125

Google is changing policies for accessing its API. Will this affect your app and if it does, what changes are you planning to make by beginning of next year when the changes will take effect

It will require changes, I will have to do some investigation to see what will be required and get back to you, I will respond on here.

I’ve investigated this, we’ll be migrating to using drive.appdata and localStorage for all user storage. We will still require verification but this will hopefully allow exemption from the security assessment as the data is managed by Google.

We will still be storing email address and pro account status in our database.

I will provide an update once we’ve submitted for verification.
